2026 ALE——芯源创携汽车照明LED 驱动解决方案亮相

March 25th saw the grand opening of the highly anticipated 2026 ALE Shanghai International Automotive Lighting Exhibition at the Kunshan·Huaqiao International Expo Center. As an important bellwether for technological innovation in the automotive lighting sector, this exhibition brought together the world's top suppliers of light sources, drivers and system solutions to jointly explore the intelligent evolution of the "eyes" of automobiles.

Among numerous exhibitors, ChipLight Technology made a heavyweight appearance with its full range of automotive lighting LED driver solutions. Leveraging its profound accumulation in the power management field, it presented an accurate dialogue between "chips" and "light" to the on-site audience.

With the accelerated trend of automotive intelligence and electrification, automotive lamps have evolved from mere basic lighting tools into intelligent terminals integrating safety, interaction and aesthetics. New functions such as high-pixel ADB headlights, intelligent interactive projection and multi-color temperature ambient lights are emerging one after another, placing unprecedentedly stringent demands on LED driver chips – higher integration, more precise current control, faster dynamic response and more robust Functional Safety (FuSa) guarantees.

The solutions showcased by ChipLight on this occasion are born to address this transformation. Our core product portfolio covers full-scenario applications from headlights to pixelated taillights, aiming to empower the ultimate expression of every beam of light through chip-level driving.

In the headlight segment, ChipLight launched the high-precision full-topology driver solution ICL8863 designed to solve thermal issues. In addition to supporting two PWM dimming modes, ICL8863 is equipped with another two analog dimming pins for flexible use. On this occasion, we have specially upgraded the dual random frequency dithering of our previous ICL8812 to linear frequency dithering, enabling EMI to easily comply with CISPR25 Class 5 standards.

In the taillight segment, ChipLight introduced the more integrated and flexible driver solution ICL8224. Besides the traditional UART protocol, we showcased the CANBUS-integrated version of ICL8224 at this exhibition. In addition, we have added functions such as NTC, daisy chain communication and thermal sharing, greatly enhancing the flexibility for customers to use this product.

At the "Vehicle-Home Interconnection Standard Seminar" and related technical forums held during the exhibition, ChipLight's technical experts conducted in-depth exchanges with industry partners to jointly explore the future development trends of automotive lighting technology.
